Although this journey is going to be full of so many adventures, it is really hard to be away from family. Certainly our adult kids and their spouses are being missed, but these four are missed the most!!

We had the opportunity to see this amazing young woman a number of times over the summer. She spent a few weeks at home to help out with her new brother, and then ventured back to Fargo to continue her college journey. We did get to take her to Theodore Roosevelt State Park in Medora ND so she could photograph the amazing scenery. Not sure there is much to see in ND 🙂 but this is definitely one of the highlights and very awe inspiring!

This young lady is growing up so quickly!!! She turned 15 this summer and she aced her permit test!!! Look out world a new driver is on the highways!! She didn’t get a chance to come up to 501 and drive the golf cart (legally) but that will be a goal for next year. She is in high school at STMA and is driven young lady.

This amazing young lady NEEDS to find a way to exercise her creative side both in fashion and design!!! She can take a Goodwill outfit and turn it into a runway potential outfit. I swear every time we see her she gains another inch or two in height. She has a great sense of humor and good laugh!!

Our whole family was blessed with this handsome young man on June 27th of this year!! After 3 days of labor and then an emergency c-section he finally decided to exit from his warm home and come in to this world. That smile is on his face all the time — even when he was battling his first cold!! I was so glad that I retired on June 1st and could spend time with this little one — he is one fantastic cuddle bunny!!!
Missing these four really make this journey difficult, but we count the days until Christmas when we can spend time with them (and the adult kids and their spouses)!!
That’s it for now!
