Yesterday in our continuing effort to eat at local places, we went in search of Youngblood’s Cafe and since it was mid-morning we wanted to go to a place that served breakfast late. So we popped the address into the GPS and followed the route until we came to a road that indicated “no thru traffic” and dead end. We drove slowly looking for the cafe and only came up to a stockyard (didn’t think we wanted our bacon THAT fresh!!). We decided to check the address on the web and of course it was different than what the GPS indicated. We were kind of in a sketchy area and could not get out of there fast enough.
I only took pictures from inside the truck because I was not about to get out!!! It was kind of creepy.
We finally found that Cafe and the food was fine, but if you want to order breakfast outside of breakfast hours, they charged you $1 more, did not serve pancakes and the toast was served dry. It was getting close to lunch and it started to get packed so our review of the breakfast food at lunch time was probably not fair! But it was an interesting experience getting there!! 🙂
