I think it is more than time for some good updates on the grandkids and what they have been up to in the last few months.
Caley
Caley had the delight to spend Spring Break in Spain and Germany. At least this time her luggage was not lost by the airlines!! Her good friend from high school, Kim, goes to school in Germany. So Kim is fluent in German and Caley is pretty fluent in Spanish, which probably helps when traveling to those countries. Sounds like they had a great time, and as always, the times goes by quickly.
This little tidbit popped up on Facebook last week and happened on March 30, 2009. We had decided to take the train to Milwaukee to see Rascal Flatts in concert. Jackie was able to get Meet n Greet so Caley could go backstage to meet the guys. She was pretty excited. Since we were fan club members and got pretty good seats. Jackie and Jenny were in the pit section, but Caley and I sat in the first row on one of the side stages. Low and behold, Gary came over to our side of the stage and indicated that he wanted Caley to come up. One of the stage hands lifted her up as she walked around the stage with Gary singing “My Wish”. It was a sold out venue and her voice sounded incredible coming through the speakers! It was truly an experience none of us will forget!

Emily and Erin
(Sorry for bunching you together, E&E, but so many of the pictures I have are you two together!!) This past weekend the Kellerson household had the opportunity to watch little Jaxen. Their family room is carpeted so he gets an expanse of space to try out his crawling skills. As you can see both Emily and Erin love spending time with this little boy!
In a post earlier, I indicated that Emily has her learner’s permit and is practicing on the road. She has had a great opportunity this winter to hone her winter driving skills!!
And this delightful young lady, with a smile on her face almost all of the time, turned 13 this week. Look out world another teenager has been added to the population!!

They both enjoyed an unofficial Spring Break trip with their dad and step family to sunny San Diego California this past week. Most of the pictures were of fun, sand and sun filled days. But this one was taken on a whale watching trip where it was not so fun. Emily was trying not to here her step-brothers and step-sisters get seasick and Erin was just sure the boat was going to sink (I would be with you Erin!!). Not a trip they will probably go on again!
Jaxen
Jaxen started swimming lessons a few weeks ago. He swims with his dad and has already experienced floating on his back, going underwater and using a floaty! Such a great skill to learn to be comfortable in the water.
He turned 9 months at the end of April and is beginning to feed himself food including some limited “real people” food! And there was actually a nice Spring day for about 10 minutes where he could sit in the grass in the front yard!
