Utah Lake State Park

Well we made it to Utah Lake State Park and there were still campsites available. I did have the KOA as back up but did not really have to use it.

The camp sites are not actually on the lake, but we do see the lake from the dining room window. The better view is outside all around our trailer — the mountains are amazing and some still have snow on them!

For the first time ever, I actually drove the truck while towing the trailer. I had never driven the truck when we had the 5th wheel – it just seemed so big to try to drive. I only drove for an hour or so, but it was good to get over the nervousness of never driving it, if I ever need to drive.

We have a new driver in the family!!! After waiting, probably what seems like forever for her, Emily passed her driver’s license test today!!! Congrats Emily!! You are a ROCK STAR!! With COVID, we were not sure if she would get her license before she graduated everything was so delayed!!

Tomorrow we will be heading to West Yellowstone. The West Yellowstone gate just opened today so we will be able to drive through Yellowstone when we leave the campgrounds on Wednesday, which was what I was hoping we could do!
