So those of you on Bylaws Watch — YEA!!! I just emailed the 29 page draft to my co-committee person for his review!!! Baby steps…but one more step from being done with this crazy project. Next it goes to the Board for their comments, and then another Draft. After that will go to the full Membership for their comments, so you can see this will continue to be a winter project!
Two weeks ago, we picked up our new vehicle — a Tesla!! David has been investing in Tesla (with good results), but has always been a Tesla fan in whatever they do. It has been his dream before he leaves this earth, to have a Tesla and we have talked about it for probably at least 4 years! So we finally ordered it and knew it would be delivered by the end of the Quarter. We ordered it when we were in MN, but had it delivered to AZ. And it is nice to license in AZ since they give a huge break for electric vehicles when it comes to licensing…where MN actually adds a penalty fee for electric vehicles. 😦

It is definitely fun to drive, but does take some getting used to. I have had a few opportunities to drive it. We took one for a test drive when we were still in MN and showed it to Jaxen. When I opened the Front Trunk (Frunk), he looked in there and said “GONE!!” He could not believe there was no engine in there!! LOL
This last week we took a back way into Sedona to go have lunch at the airport restaurant, and as always the views through Sedona are so amazing. This was a different way, from our usual, entering Sedona, so the views were from a different angle, which was kind of fun to see.

We had an additional treat up at the airport restaurant in that a small jet plane was there and we got to see it take off. Usually we only see the little prop planes take off from that view, so it was fun to see how quick that one lifted up into the sky!
I have been worked on different craft projects, including one quite large counted cross stitch, which I had shared a picture of a few blogs back. I ended up getting a frame for that one to use while working on it and that is so much better than using a hoop for a project that big. I have a couple of other projects (Christmas themed) that I am doing in between the cross stitch. Kind of fun to have various projects….but I told myself this morning I could not do any projects until I got those crazy Bylaws Draft done!!! So now I have the rest of the do to do crafts, in between laundry.
One of my favorite things to do is get up before the sun rises, go out on the deck (when it is in the 50’s) and read for a good hour or so. I am currently reading this book, which I am enjoying — I know it is fiction, but still hard to believe what Italian citizens did during Hitler’s terror around 1944-1945 — they were very brave to try to defend their country!

I will have to say, the sun rises from the deck are really beautiful…as I believe I have said before. There are also usually at least one hot air balloon on the horizon just as the sun is coming up.

Max and I usually sit on the deck for an hour or so, until the sun gets too hot, or he has to go for his morning walk!!
Last Sunday, during the Vikings game….because they really have not done well lately, Jackie and Jaxen went with Jermar while he went golfing. He knew since it was during the game, the golf course would be quiet and ok for Jaxen to tag along. Looks like there may be a new golfer in training! He was even helping Jermar line up his putt!

We have been enjoying some video calls with J3 the last couple of weeks. Jaxen loves to do “cheers” to anything — his cup, his fork, his spoon….so when we were out for a lunch Bumpa sent him a Cheers and he returned his!

Jackie had her 20 week ultrasound last week, and there is a tiny issue with the baby that they are monitoring. She will go back in 8 weeks for another ultrasound, but the good thing is that they are aware that there may be an issue and know how to address it.
Last week Jason and Jen went up to Grand Marais for a few days, just at the peak of fall colors — SO JEALOUS!!! They got some great pictures — I love the Fall colors! Many of these are Jason’s drone pictures.

So this year Erin is running cross country for STMA. She started out in JV, but then was asked to join Varsity, although I have not got any updates on whether she is still running Varsity. With her long legs this is a perfect sport for her!

And the camping season came to a close for the Kellerson family. Sounds like the summer season was a success up at Birch Bay Resort. Always sad to see the season end.

J3 had the opportunity to go and see Caley (Jaxen calls her Kiki) and Darcee up in Fargo, and they had a lot of fun even visiting a local zoo.

Lots of pictures in this blog post — hopefully I don’t blow up the blogosphere!! 🙂
All around disposition has been getting better. Knowing we will be able to visit back in MN at Christmas certainly helps and staying to be there for Baby Boy Larkins also helps. It is additional difficult since no one can really come and visit this year. Last year it seemed like our front door was a revolving door with all the great visitors. So taking it one day at a time — one day can be good, one day can be not so good and one day can be pretty good…so little steps.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
TIFN

Oh, I think we need more…..LOL
