Orlando – Part 2

The next day’s adventure was a stay at the house day and more enjoying the pool!

On Tuesday, the girls ventured to Clearwater Beach so they could put their toes in the sand!! It was a beautiful day for that trip.

Late in the day we decided to take a trip to Kennedy Space Center. When we were in Cape Canaveral, we did not go over to the Space Center. Since we got there later in the day, our time was limited so I would definitely like to go back there sometime and take full advantage of all the tours and sights!

Wednesday was another chill day as we enjoyed the pool…but we did decide to take in Bar Bingo up at the Cafe in the clubhouse. Little did we know how popular this was for the resort and when we got there it was hard to find a place to sit. Eagle eyes, we spotted a group getting ready to pay and kind of hovered around and jumped in when they got up. LOL…things get kind of crazy at Bar Bingo…LOL…really they were very nice to tell us they were getting ready to leave. The table was enough for 6 people, so we saw a group of 3 women walk in and looking for a place to sit so we offered them space at our table. After everyone was settled, I asked them where they were from…they said “Minnesota”…LOL…I said us too! Then asked what city, they said “St. Michael”…LOL…so it was like old home week for the Jens and these 3. Turns out they hang out in the same places and even coordinated some time on their calendars to meet up again in St. Michael for a meat raffle!! What a small world and a great group to meet!

None of us won any bingo…although we were doing a little too much talking to pay 100% to the numbers that were called. Plus it seems there were no prizes!! What the heck??!!!

Meanwhile the boys were working on an art project in daycare that day!

That night it was pretty rainy and on in to the next day!! The girls decided they would go ahead and go to Epcot (originally planned for Friday…) even in the rain. There was some rain when they first got there, but turned out to be a great visit. David and I did not go…wanted them to have some family time to themselves…but in retrospect, I wished I would have gone. I have been to Epcot a number of years ago, but their pictures made me long to have gone again. Check out Erin’s hat!!! She was not hard to spot in the crowd!! 🙂

And the boys were again doing craft projects at daycare!! (Jaylen must have been napping!) What a fun daycare!!

Next update will be Friday’s activities and why the girls decided to leave on Friday rather than the original planned leaving of Saturday. 😦
