Time to dust off and remove the cobwebs from the ole Blog site!!
Getting ready for our long trip to Florida (adventure) with lots of places to stop and see. Prefer to have a diary here rather than FB so limited people see the pics and know our locations. 🙂
We plan to leave tomorrow and return sometime in March. Sounds like the cold will follow us….but hopefully for not too long. We drive around Nashville and they were hit so hard with the ice storms it will be interesting to see how they are doing.
But first how about some pictures from the Rascal Flatts concert that we went to last Friday night. It was both girls (Jackie and Jenny) and all of the granddaughters (Caley, Emily and Erin). It was so much fun. Although I stood for 2 hours dancing and my knee let me know how mad it was at me.
Funny how they seem to have aged, but none of us have!! LOL
Joe Don sang “Broken Road” but introduced it by summarizing how his last few years have gone….substance abuse, treatment for 4 months and a divorce. It was a very emotional sharing and so was the song.
Seats were pretty good….close enough to see them sweat! Told the girls that being on the floor was not for me. Plus since this is an ice arena, when you stand on the floor you can feel the cold of the ice underneath…and it was already so cold outside we did not need that added coldness. As Gary said when he walked out it is 700 below here!!
