First a little glossery: PCB – Panama City Beach and NRB – North Reddington Beach
We had stayed in PCB last year and wanted to back to hopefully the same hotel. Well I thought I found the one but it was not the same and we were definitely somewhat disappointed. And so many of the staff seemed so cranky!! But we did get a room with a view of the great waves so that was definitely a plus.

This was also one of my first times walking on the beach and it was so nice to feel that sand.
Next we went to North Reddington City Beach. What an amazing hotel and great room. Some crabby staff, but not too bad. They must not be ready for tourist season yet. We arrived in the evening and this was our view.

Couldn’t wait until the morning to see what it would look like in the daylight. But we could keep the door open and listen to the waves, which was a plus!

What a view!! This hotel had just opened their patio area after doing a renovation. So after breakfast we would sit in their patio area and enjoy the waves and sun. Turns out each one of these chairs cost $15,000; $19,000 if you want the swivel option. This was with searching online for the costs….the ladies next to us did that…assume Hilton got a multi discount for all the chairs! Great for napping!

And sunning! (Yes I did eventually purchase a sun hat!!)

Although still in sweatshirts in the early morning. Got much better as the day went on and the next day.
Having a deck off the room one of my favorite things is to read, drink coffee and enjoy the waves

The restaurant, Coconut Charlies, in that hotel was fantastic. I tried Mahi-Mahi for the first time and David tried Salmon for the first time (he has had smoked salmon but not prepared this way)

And meanwhile back at home, Jaylen was enjoying his birthday with a “friends-only” party. Guess he has grown out family parties! LOL

Oh he did let his brother come also!!

And next stay would be at Hawk’s Cay near Marathon down in the Keys.
Be nice to all!
